About This Project

In 2006, the Coca Cola Retailing Research Council web site is used to communicate and collaborate with leaders in the supermarket industry.

Upon browsing the Retailing Research Council web portal, I realized there were several ways to improve user experience. I proactively engaged the council VP and other executives for the opportunity to present some improvements ideas. I gathered user research and began to explore designs concepts to provide a more appealing user experience. I presented wireframes and designs. Since there were no resources available for this project, I became a UX designer, web designer, project manager and front-end web developer. I also had to learn a new CMS system and back-end language in order to make the styling enhancements. The new web site was a big success resulting in more log-ins, downloads and engagement.
